So put yourself in Wilders shoes. Your the baddest man on the planet (apparently) who is desperate to be the undisputed HW champion but because little old Eddie says he can't come in the ring (according to you) then he doesn't bother coming. Do you know how ridiculous that sounds. Surely if you was that eager you would have just turned up and then either the public would have demanded you get in the ring or if Eddie didn't let you in then Eddie would have looked truely stupid. Also, if the AJ team didn't want the fight then how has Wilder at this very moment got a contract with an AJ signature attached to it. It's wilder who isn't signing it.
Poor card last night for me. Fury's just not entertaining to watch. Frampton fought a guy a good few levels below him in the main event. Commentators are even worse than Eddie hearns crew. Comperes a guy with a ponytail.
I don’t think you can argue that it will be to be fair. But AJ vs any of them will absolutely smash the numbers this will do. I’m talking multiply it by 3 or 4 times. I’m interested to see what purses they’ve both accepted.
Mate your in denial, and clearly can’t accept what is in front of you. All I have said is public knowledge which Eddie confirmed himself. Hearn wasn’t going to allow the fight to happen this year and probably not next either. Hearns contract is for a flat fee of 15m which he said he wouldn’t budge from, and not a percentage which is utterly ridiculous considering the size of the fight. I can’t be bothered to argue any further as like I say, your in denial. This content is protected
Your hatred for Hearn is obviously clouding your judgement. Let's just agree to disagree and both be disappointed that we will probably not see the 2 best HW fight each other for whatever reason
Exactly, I don't know why fans care so much about that stuff. I thought that seeing the best fights made would be the main focus for boxing fans, it's not as if we see any of the money. On the fight, if Tyson loses which is highly likely, then he can always come back again if he really wants it. Yes he may be taking the fight a bit soon but if he feels he's ready then go for it. Maybe he sees this fight as part of his comeback and he can get many rounds of sparring in at a higher level than Pianeta anyway.
Sort the security out. In the stands the security consisted of one fat bloke and a middle aged woman in vests.
BT sport put up poster on Facebook page with next three fights on BT box office. Frampton vs Warrington was one of them
A family member ,who incidentally makes no secret of the fact he hates Hearns and AJ,asked me what I thought of Warren ? I said that when he was the new kid on the block he was a breath of fresh air compared to the then controlling faction of Duff/Barrett/Levine/Astair as he regionalised boxing instead of basing the majority of fights in London. The thing is he ultimately became the thing that he replaced ! Perhaps that is inevitable after all non of these promoters are fairy godmothers they are business men .Warren has a limited stable at the moment and consequently his shows are a bit lacking if the gamble with Fury v Wilder comes off I.e. Fury wins he might turn things around.
Hearn did an IFL interview where he confirmed that the $50m offer was genuine and it was Joshua's decision to take it or not. Joshua chose not to.
Wilder's team say the contract had no fight date or venue on it. Finkel said the offer was worse than the one they had already rejected. Joshua said he'd fight Wilder in the States for $50m. The offer was made, Joshua tweeted "Let's Roll", but then waddled away. $50m has to be the biggest duck in boxing history.
Its about time Frank starts putting on these big fights, Eddie has been taking the **** getting complacent because hes had nobody to compete with, them trying to out do each other = a win for the fans.
Cheers...I did watch a vid last night where Frank confirmed it was ppv. I did make a post a few week ago, saying Josh v Carl would be their next fight and probably ppv but I was expecting Carl to have the wbo full title. I wasn't sure it would still be ppv without the unification. Seems it is...good luck to Josh he will be getting the larger slice here.
