Okay, so am I dating myself here? This game was all the rage when I was little. Nowadays the equivalent in concept would probably be Candy Crush - but that's just too gay for me to endorse.

Here's the idea - take four boxers who are similar enough stylistically and in physical attributes to be effectively "pallete swaps" of each other resized to scale.

    I'll start...

    • Jesus Soto Karass, Leo Santa Cruz, Antonio Margarito & Librado Andrade:
    • Tall, lean rangy Mexicans (in Andrade's case, technically Mexican-American) with limited defense but iron chins & extremely high-volume attacks liberally mixing in body work to grind opponents down, with a commensurate gas tank allowing to keep this up for the long haul and for three minutes of every round...all heavy-handed but not one-punch KO artists.

I would replace Karass and Andrade with Gaspar Ortega and Giovanni Segura.

You were off to a good start but Pacquiao has none of the hallmarks concatenate between Tyson & Frazier (bobbing & weaving, low center of gravity, big left hooks) :yep :nono

    I dig it!

I can see where you're coming from putting them all together. I'll leave it to you to spell out the connections for those who aren't familiar with all of them or lack the imagination to see the qualities that carry over in their minds.

    Do I have to?

All 4 of them are come forward pressure fighters, with awkward quasi-swarming styles, who have better than average subtle defense mainly built around vaguely Toney-esque slight head and body movements to roll with and slip punches in close, while landing shots from anywhere they can land them by constantly diversifying their attacks using unique angles and punch selection. Close enough my mind isn't as sharp as it should be today.

Kostya Tyszu, Sergey Kovalev, Gennady Golovkin, Ruslan Provodnikov.. All seek and destroy boxers with massive power in both hands.

    Nice pick.

Mine are: Hearns, Groves, Khan, Forrest
All are great boxers in their own right but can't handle the caveman style.

    Hearns lost to Brakley 2x
    Groves lost to Froch 2x.
    Khan to Prescott and Garcia.
    Forrest couldn't beat Mayorga 2x.
