You do realise that if Conor fights at 145 again he MUST fight the interim title holder Aldo don't you ? The whole point of an interim title is to keep the division running while the true champion is out (generally by injury but in Conor's case fighting 3 times healthy in other weight divisions ). You also do realise that Aldo just comfortably beat Edgar ?

If the UFC were to let Conor defend his 145 title against anyone other than Aldo that would be completely ridiculous even by their standards.

Ah ok, so he'll fight Aldo first then Edgar in that case. Yeah, I agree. Aldo's an animal BUT Conor stole his soul.
