i dont know maybe this place gets tons of stuff bout core training already, i don't know
anyway i'm creating a weekly schedule for myself and all thats missing is a short core workout that i can fit in a few times per week. i already do crunches twice a week and yoga twice a week so i'd just like a few simple exercises that don't require any type of equipment. i know planks and side planks, any more suggestions?
preferably tried and tested with success, not huge lists from websites made by fat rich people who don't know ****
    thanks in advance:good

Basic exercises: Russian twists with a dumbbell, what I call crunch+ tuck (probably called other names) where you do a half sit-up and knee tuck movement in one, plank position, side plank, leg raises, elbow-to-knee crunches, superman stretches, extended arm push-ups.

Crunches aren't a great core movement, they only work a small part of the core.

I find push up variations to be some of the best core exercises. Superman push ups, one handed push ups and psuedo planche push ups are all great for developing lots of those little stability muscles. If you get good, maybe even try the full planche push up.

You need to work the core in different directions- weighted side bends, crunches, supermans, flag, plank, ab wheel roll outs, dumbell rotations, russian twists. Check Ross training for more idea.sd

    Hanging leg raises.

Also, don't forget your lower back is part of your core too.
