Please help me out on this one. A poster on here recently compared Lujan to Cotto, however highlighting a few points. * Lujan having a better chin (This despite being knocked out by a b level fighter in two rounds, only a few fights after facing Margarito) * Is more explosive * Has faster feet * Is more athletic * Is better defensively * Has better head and upper body movement Considering that Cotto is uinversally considered among the best p4p fighters in the sport, that must make Sebastian Lujan one HELL of a fighter. Why then has he not succeeded at a world class level? Your thoughts on this matter would be much appreciated.
Jesus you are as bad as Ziggy/Radar. He didn't say Lujan was anywhere near as good as Cotto. All he said was that Lujan stylistically moved alot more and didn't square up to do damage on his punches. If you can't see that distinction you are still on that Kool Aid kick. I gotta say.

The kool aid joke is lame. Why do you keep saying it for, it doesn't get funnier as time goes on? He clearly stated Lujan as being better than cotto in all the areas i put forward. He also disupted the fact that Cotto is a better combination puncher than Lujan. If you don't agree, put so in the thread. I am simply wanting to find out the forum opinion here.
Its not a popularity contest, i clearly asked regarding those particular aspects, based on your analysis. Your words not mine. This is a boxing forum, and believe it or not, most fans have seen both fight.
I really so no similarities besides them both being relatively short for welterweights. Cotto has better defense (slips/parries punches), is ten times the body puncher, is better at timing and distance. Lujan just seems to wing punches and gets tagged a lot coming in with a nonexistent jab. Sorry they are not alike at all.
Thankyou. IMO it is clear as day. Obviously others don't quite agree. I am interested to see what the rest of the forum has to say, apart from the two biggest Marg supporters on the site.
