Cotto defeats Margarito...

Its no secret that Cotto until recently been a fairly green fighter. I would say the Malignaggi fight is where i start considering that Cotto entered his prime, and imo he has not fully peaked yet. We'll see.

 

I have a feeling he's gonna' be TKO'd here.. If he gets knocked down, he'll get back up, but I can see the ref or maybe even the doctors stopping this fight..

has cotto changed his trainer yet? i heard that he sacked his uncle after the gomez fight. anyone know who the new trainer is?

No change, Evangelista Cotto remains his trainer.

 

Yep, there were some problems before the Gomez fight. Big problems between Miguel and Evangelista, but they were apparently smoothed out and Miguel's father stated that Evangelista would remain with Miguel for the duration of his career.

Personally, I predict that Evangelista will be out if or when Cotto loses to Margarito.

 

I don't have as much boxing knowledge as you lot on here, ill hold my hands up. But I think this is an very dangerous fight for Cotto. I believe Margarito has a tough chin and Cotto will knock knock him out, he will have to TKO him ref stopping the fight. I could see Cotto getting an UD but I could see Margarito being more likely to get the KO

 

Is Margarito mexican, do mexicans even get knocked out?

My opinion Cotto is being a little overrated here, based on the imtimidating factor. He does look intimidating.

 

But good banter on here thats what these forums are about, sure it feels like it will be an explosive fight. Ill watch as an neutral as these are not my fav fighters.
