Not unless you want to see Ricky get killed.

Hatton would have a better chance against Cotto than he did against Floyd. That being said, he still gets knocked out. This fight won't happen.

please god no, Hatton has struggled with the power of Collazo and Mayweather, but Cotto is a beast.

Maybe at 140, but it aint going to happen. Hatton is finished at 147 its just not his weight. No shame in that, not every fighter is a Mayweather/Leonard. GO down the hagler stick at a career weight now Ricky.

He doesn't bring his power or strength up with him

I dont think so. I think that Cotto would stop Hatton faster than Floyd would at 147. They would be fighting the same fight, but Cotto would rip Hatton to the body and keep him on the end of his jab.

Not too many good fighters out there at 140 for Ricky. The power is not there for Ricky because of all the guiness. He balloons up then he loses all that weight quickly which makes him lose muscle as well. Now this might be a lesson to him.

He may stop him faster because Cotto has more power, but Cotto doesn't have all the tools that Floyd has. Cotto doesn't have the speed that Floyd has, he's not as good of a counterpuncer, and he is alot easier to hit. As a result, Hatton's style would give him a better shot at beating Cotto than Floyd. He would have a better chance at landing that left hook, and he would be much more successful grappling with Cotto.

I love Ricky, but lets have Ricky Hatton move down to 140lbs and create his legacy down there, he has no business fighting at 147 the guy is too small. Cotto would absolutely thrash Hatton dude, Cotto to has the boxing skills to neutralize Hatton's pressure mainly because Cotto's power is even greater. Dude for real Cotto vs Hatton is suicide.

A lesser fight before Cotto eh? How about a fight against Margarito then since he lost to Williams? Actually, Hatton has no business at 147 and I highly doubt his trainer would let him stay at welter after two dismal performances at that weight.
