I think it was exaggerated by Margo being slow.

His right hand impressed me more than I've ever seen it.

I thought Cotto looked great! He would punch the **** out of Marg and then get out. Punch him then get the **** out of the way. Excellent work by Cotto.

That's a damn good point that I hadn't thought that much about yet. He was snappin' them shots.

Cotto looked great. 160 is too high for Cotto imo. but I'd probably still give him the nod over JCC

He's slowed down, but he's fighting at a higher weight class then he used to , it comes with the territory. I thought Cotto looked as good as he ever has. His power and speed was all there, and I thought his boxing was improved - better use of the right hand, better footwork, better ring generalship. I saw an improved fighter from his last several fights.

Look at it this way, the 'prime' Cotto was the one who got TKO'd by Margarito, and I think the plaster thing is way overstated.

He fought a one eyed fighter and was taking heavy shots to his body all night. How the **** did he look awesome? Do you remember how he got broken down the last time and how he was ahead by running and throwing pitty pat punches then too?

Actually, give the credit to Pacquaio.
You Cotto fans are so desperate to have your runner look good. He hasn't looked good since Judah.

    Agreed.

I just wish he had taken advantage more when he turned Cheato; I thought
he moved a bit too far outside instead of catching him as he turned to follow.
