Cotto did not look awesome, he was still eating a lot of shots when he didn't need to, that is far from looking awesome. Cotto did look good but his stamina once again came into question he looked really tired in those later rounds. Before the fight I stated the cotto would win via stoppage due to margo eye and I was right.
You are not the only one who predicted a long time ago that the eye would be the #1 factor. But Marg is washed up anyway. Or maybe going plasterless also means he never had true great power. So beating current Marg doe not an awesome fighter make. Prob FLoyd, Pac, Canelo, Martinez and others, all beat this "new" Cotto. But Cotto would beat JCC Jr-who prob won't take that fight.
Thought it was just me. That's the best I've seen Cotto in some time. Arum will never let it happen, but sure, I'm up for Mayweather/Cotto.
