I got news for you, Margo is the same fighter. He lost so many of the early rounds against Williams because of what Williams brought to the table. If Margo has changed so much, how come he lost so many early rounds against Cotto?

He's avoiding him. I wouldn't call it ducking just yet though.

Because Cotto is a superior boxer to Margo? It's not like Margo couldn't be assed for trying, Cotto was just controlling the fight. It wasn't until Cotto gassed out that Margarito took over.

If you think Paul Williams would beat Margarito again that's fine. I won money on Williams the first time around and I've got nothing against the guy...but if you think Margarito hasn't improved at least strategically then I don't know what to say to you.

I would say more like putting him in the side. esp. when there was a small chance margarito would have gotten a shot at DLH and a nice big fat check...just like williams would have done with him... now thats not happening we wont know until 09 of who is doing the ducking...

That fight isn't even set yet. Williams made it known that he wanted the winner of Cotto/Margo. His promoter sent Top Rank an offer and was ignored.

He was gonna fight the winner anyways. So of course Top Rank is gonna keep it in the family. :D

yes I have about the 4 million offer and the 50/50 split in revenue... I wont exactly say ignoring the offer, but more of putting it in the side because there was small chance of the fight against DLH... and I dont know about a 50/50 split if thats going to work out...

I wouldnt say Cotto gassed out Margs had Cotto hurt numerous times during the 1st 6 rounds

And Cottos nose and mouth didnt bleed on there own. I think the beating Cotto was taking gassed him out.

Margs just put it on him

He did put in on the side and as soon as DLH/Pac was on they went for a fight with Clottey instead and Williams signed to fight Collazo. Still a fight with Clottey will be asked for from Margarito sooner or later so better now than never. The Williams fight will most likely happen after both succeed in their next fights, which I think/hope they will.
