Cotto the boxer = BORING

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by LordSharpshire, Jun 5, 2010.

  1. For the first time ever I was bored with Miguel Cotto. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come from him in future fights i.e. boxing from the outside. It was boring; especially since not much action was happening. As I stated in another thread, Miguel was not cutting off the ring well at all and he was doing a scarce amount of body work. If this is supposed to be the new-and-improved Cotto I'm not interested.

Cotto's power shots from the left hand were getting the better of it each time they exchanged.

Cotto has always rode that fine line throughout the last few years of his career. He just has enough craft and class though to get you back onside.

Did you just get into this sport today or something? This certainly isn't the first time Cotto has boxed a somewhat dull fight. Although in this case I did find the fight entertaining. His boxing performances against Abdullaev and N'dou.. now those were boring.

I actually liked the Abdullaev fight, but if you wanna talk about a really boring Cotto fight then look no further then his fight with John Brown.

Yes, but I think the changes will make him better suited to have success at 154. Manny has also extended Cotto's career for another 2-3 years.
