What a war this fight turned out to be..perhaps the last time Cotto was at his physical peak..Took seripos hard shots from Torrez on this one...I re kon his chin was never the same after this fight.

    What a war.

Yeah great shout, I've watched this one a few times. Cracker. Torres could bang.

Forgot about Torres/Cotto. Awsome fight. Torres and Holt 1 was a good one as well. The KO of Torres in the rematch was brutal.

One of Cotto's most entertaining fights. Showed why he belonged with the elites despite his chin. His heart was bigger.

Looked like Torres was on his way to stopping Holt in that rematch. A nasty clash of heads helped turn that around for Holt.

Looked Torres up on Boxrec, and was surprised to see that he fought just 2 months ago....his first fight since 2009. He was stopped in the 3rd by some guy with a 4-0 record.

Sad to hear dude still out there fighting. Hopefully he's doing it out of love and not necessity.

Amazing from start to finish, just an insane back and forth fight. That fight would have been Fight of the Year had it not taken place the same year as Corrales vs Castillo 1.

We did not know how good we had it during that time as fans of the sport. Cards like that was televised if not weekly then every other week. I don’t think that was a top card during that year but it would easily be one of the best if put together in today’s climate.

I remember a ppv in uk back when the ppv just started. It might have been the first or second ppv boxing card ever in the UK and omg did we get our moneys worth between Naz headlining in the UK fights and Tyson was main event v holyfield in the US part of the card. What a nights boxing. about 11 world title fights.

What a coincidence. That was literally the first ever boxing card I can remember watching. I was 7 years old and my old man ordered that card. He always ordered the fights but I always remember this was the first one I actually put the toys down and sat down to watch it. Been glued to the sport ever since. Sad the state it’s in now.
