rite i know its next week, but lets get predictions rolling.

im certain he isnt as Cotto is a model professional of todays sport, but is he and everyone taking jennings lightly?? Jennings win a possibility at all?? im going cotto body shot inside 3. Ive watched a good few of Jennings fights, but it cant go past the 3rd surely?? Be good for british boxing though if the bloke pulls it off and maybe the end of a modern legend

Anything is possible....Cotto could slip and break an ankle or lightning can
strike him....Cotto could possibly get distracted from Arums ugly mug at ringside and get hit with a horse shoe.

As far as preparation goes....Jennings hasn't been taken lightly at all....
he will be the recipient of what he signed up for.....he willl get his ass thrashed.

cotto isnt a modern day legend he's a good solid pro but legend? thats pushing it
anyway there is a very good chance of jennings winning this fight he's a seriously underrated boxer with a good jab fast hands and nice footwork if he can take a good shot especially to da body and hav good stamina he can certainly pull it off

its all about his fitness and mental state of mind

Jennings is gonna have to box superbly from the outside to win this fight or even make it competitive. His jab and footwork are his best friends in this fight.

I don't see any reasonable way Jennings can win this match unless Cotto is so mentally and physically broken from his "loss" (ha-ha) to Margarito that he's a shell of his former self.

Why would you start a thread being biased? And on top of that, disrespecting the Britians & their country? Threads like this is why this general forum gets a bad rep.

Predictions? Jennings is pure cannonfodder for Cotto to get a belt back and get some rounds in at the same time. Once Cotto lands a punch to the body Jennings will realize just how far out of his depths he is. The real question is how long will it take for the HBO crew to start talking about the referee stepping in and stopping it. I say Cotto dusts him in 6. Just think Cotto/Gomez.

Doesn't matter if he was from Pete Rose's @sshole. He;s still being biased.

I guess. I mean, a KO inside 3 isn't giving Jennings any credit at all. Cotto isn't a fighter that jumps in your face from the opening bell and devastates with huge punches. He takes a round or two to get started and then, ideally, systematically dismantles the opponent. Historically speaking, even against wildly outclassed opposition, his KOs are generally in the mid rounds. That's just the way he fights.

Cruiser1 called it with a comparison to the Gomez fight. Cotto probably could have finished Gomez much earlier, but that's not really his style.

Its not being baised its just an opinion you think it will be over in 3 thats fair enough.I think Jennings has a chance but it depends on how he copes with the punches of Cotto,he has never been in with anyone of Cottos standard and that could be a problem.I think Jennings will make a better go of it than Gomez did and will give Cotto a few problems, but i think Cotto will stop him around the 9th or 10th.
