Lara would run and good chance he'll get dropped once or twice, so he will never get the nod over Cotto.

Don't know Lara seems to struggle a bit against pressure fighter Angulo, Molina but His style is difficult, very difficult fight for both, but I favor Cotto because Lara seems to get short in big fights.

Of course Cotto wins because they don't allow Lara to win fights alla Paul Williams, Canelo, etc......

Lara is a bum. Nobody wants to watch him fight.

Cotto beats Lara. Lara is far too overrated for being an amateur one two fighter.

Lara can punch and Cotto can be fragile. I'd bet on the underdog.

Cotto isn't what I would call a pressure fighter anymore, he didn't pressure Martinez or Geale. Lara won't pressure Cotto, so it could end up being a very dull match. Lara has a real reach advantage and will use to its fullest extent, and if Cotto tries to pressure him he'll be getting tagged with hard counters, probably hard enough to hurt or possibly drop Cotto, Lara's power is underrated. Lara would outbox him and probably get robbed on the cards. But I wouldn't rule out a stoppage by either Cotto or Lara.

Well He presure Geale in the last two rounds and Geale quit. He pressure no hopper Rodriguez and koed Him so He need pressure for Lara, Cotto can pressure you but with skills not came forward kind of style.

Cotto will never beat Lara he always going to be too far, the one two all night long Cotto does not have the stamina to chase Lara.

no...cotto didn't really pressure geale. it was geale taking the fight to cotto and getting blown out.

Now, a lara-cotto fight would be very one-sided. Lara wins by a clear 8-4 margin. But cotto would NEVER take that fight. Far too much risk for too little reward, especially at this stage of his career.
