Cotto vs Margarito pay?

    Does anyone here know how much these guys made for their war? We all know that they earned every penny.:good

    I seen somewhere that Margarito made like 3 Mill for this...
    (Maybe on T.V. during an interview on Azteca TV)
    I'm not sure about Cotto tho?

    I read that Cotto was paid 3 million and Marg made 1.5. Not enough for a war like that if you ask me!

    True, but Marg's next fight will sure be over 5mil, and its against oscar it will be over 15mil... so you gotta start somewere... and beating Cotto is a hell of place to start. (Now his demands have more power)

    If this is all they made then I think they got robbed by Arum just like we got robbed by PPV when Pbf fought DLH.

    from P.R. newspaper Cotto made between 5 or 6 million, not so sure about Margarito.

    Arum guaranteed $3 Million to Cotto and $1.5 Million to Margo. With the PPV share Cotto will make near $7Million supposedly and Margo probably around $4Mill. I heard the sales did real well over 500,000 PPV buys.

    good for them. it's time that they earn their due. i hope someday the lowest divisions will also have the chance to earn something that big.
