That will be a great fight. I think Cotto beats him, he is quicker (Margo is pretty slow, his workrate makes up for it though) and Cotto wouldn't do what Cintron did and just stand in front of Margarito while he loads up. Cotto UD.
Maybe this fight could get more than half way through.. Both guys destroyed their opponents.. This would be a pretty decent fight though, but Cotto looked so damn good, I'd say he would win over Margo by late round tko..
Cotto easily wins this one, Margarito will have no answer how to get past Cotto's defense, and Cotto will actully hurt him on the inside to the body where Cintron couldnt. Wide UD for Cotto.

Think Margaritos pressure would get to Cotto. One thing pressure fighters hate the worse is another pressure fighter. Margarito is not as talented as Cotto but he is a better pressure fighter, hits hard and has a chin that Cotto can't crack.
I guess I will be in the minority and say that this is a 50/50 fight with the slight edge going to Cotto I know that Margarito is slow and robotic, but he applies relentless pressure and is very good at fighting on the inside.You know that he is going to be there all night Cotto has progressed and is capable of fighting on the inside or outside but seems open to alot of countershots...He is going to have to use his superior boxing skills and avoid getting into a brawl which will favor Margarito.
Margo was not troubled by Cintrons power and Cintron most definitely hits harder than Cotto. Margo walked right through one of the hardest punchers in the sport.
Ya OK, let's base this on their performances tonight. Margarito walks through hellacious bombs from a world champ Cintron, while Cotto beats up a reality tv star. Cintron KO3 Gomez. Margarito beats Cotto on pts or late TKO. Cotto would sweep the first 6 rounds and Marg wouldn't get discourged. This man is inhuman.
YOu gotta remember Cotto is waaaaaaaaay better than Cintron, and has far superior skills than both Margrito and Cintron, wont even be close.
