is there anything cotto can do differently in the rematch or is it the outcome the same? One thing is he needs to go to the body more with that famous left hook 2 try and slow down margo. how do you guys see the rematch playing out?

He needs to hit Margo in the hips and in the nuts. That will slow down Margo's attack.

i think its clear he doesn't have the stamina to box margo for 12 rounds but he can't stand and trade either even though he will land the harder crisper shots

this is like the 20 thread about this...

Cotto needs to train on stamina... Away from Puerto Rico, in the high hills of some remote location. He needs to reinvent the Rocky. Its a steep hill of accomplishment but if hes hungry enough, it can be done.

He needs to be focused, so focused that nothing can be a distraction. No kids, no press, no ******ed homies etc...

His career will rest on this match in June and he needs to start acting like it. Point blank.

See, I just watched this fight again and I can't see Cotto being able to take him. The first 5 or 6 rounds Cotto was in control, but he just didn't seem to be able to adjust when Margo wised up to his counter punching. I think Cotto/Margarito 2 may go the same way as Margarito/Cintron 2. Probably more competetively though.

we all saw that cotto had the ability to outbox margo but its only wen his stamina caught up with him was wen he got stopped. if he can improve that alot then i say he has a good chance

He could beat him by fighting ugly I think. He was able to get his punches off first but couldn't hurt Margo, so I think if he didn't back up in a rematch, again got his puches off first and them spoiled, basically did a John Ruiz he could possibly outpoint him.

Passion is what the Mexican\Puerto Rican people thrive on. Margo had passion, heart and a stiff chin that night. He trains old school.

Cotto needs to do the same...

I believe this also. He has a minute chance of changing his game, but with no right hand, and no decent body attack, I can't see Cotto beating Am either.

No right hand?....Cotto actually fights with his right hand more despite being left handed he is of the few who are very effective with both hands.
