I know that everybody here knows that this match-up is an appetizer for Floyd-Pac this november, masterfully mixed up by Bob Arum himself.

The scenario is this-- when Mayweather beat up Cotto (which he should and would), he would be facing Pacquiao in November, and everybody will say " oohhh, Floyd , you're dealing with the main man now, this is no Cotto youre dealing with, this is Pacquiao!! "

Everybody will be salivating. You know what, for all the bad things said about Bob Arum, one thing you cannot take away from him -- creating drama for this fight -- the guy really is a master promoter and a money maker. He knows that after Pac-Floyd, there will be lesser money to be made (uuhmm, i type this, then the "trilogy" thing comes up in my mind).

Anyways, this is a poll, and since reading esb post here , there are still many fans here think that Cotto can beat Mayweather (as i type this, my mind flash to 80's era the rivalry of "Duran-Hearns-Leonard-Hagler", and compare this to now "Marquez-Pacquiao-Floyd-Cotto" maybe-this-is-a-new-era).

Many think that this fight will be competitive , maybe an upset, what do you think?

Cotto Vs. Mayweather more competitive "better" fight than Vs. Pac. IMO
Floyd beats both, But Miguel makes a better showing for himself.

Pac has nothing in his arsenal for Mayweather.
    My Vote: Mayweather by Decision

Cotto vs Pac II = absolute bs match. Mayweather-Cotto would be interesting, but i'd rather watch Mayweather against a legitimate threat, like Martinez. Pac should fight Bradley, or Marquez again, not a former victim like Cotto.

Nor to mention that Mayweather-Cotto could jeopardize the mega fight. If Floyd somehow struggles against a guy that Pac dominated, Floyd would lose the urge to fight Pac again

    Cotto is taylor-made.
Cotto should stick around for a while, nevertheless, he is in for a good beating.
    He gets paid good.
    Its business.

Mayweather vs Cotto at Cottos correct weight would be a great match. Any way you slice it styles make fights and Pacquiaos style doesn't suite Cotto but Mayweather absoloutky does. Mayweather by decision in a action fight that may see Floyd on the canvas once then adjust in 6-12
