margorito the second fight for sure. but i think his most exciting was against ricardo torres. that was a damn good and underrated fight. no one mentions how exciting it was. coming out party was probably zab judah.

The Mosley fight @MSG no question about it.
(Miguel was boosted to GOD status after that fight... Then came Tony)
    ^God ain't real.

Cotto has had many defining moments; one for each stage of his career. Blasting out Quintana and establishing himself as Puerto Rico's undisputed #1, with a vicious body shot no less, defined his rise to stardom. Out slugging a very good Shane Mosley defined his 147 pound peak. The plaster beating will also leave a question mark on his career, and of course the revenge has defined the beginning of a new chapter.

Too hard to choose. However, for me it was the Margo rematch. After the fight he stands on the opposite end and just stares at Margo. He exorcised his demons.

It looks like most are going with the Margo rematch.

Quintana shines against the highly touted Joel Julio, then gets busted up and dropped with a bodyshot- Defining fight, but the Mosley fight was the best fighter he fought that was still close to prime status. But I had Mosley winning by a round, lol!

Mosley fight in my opinion. Revenge against brick fists was a very close second.

I think the beating he took from Pacquiao was admirable. Not many men could take that sort of punishment.

Sure he showed heart, But that was clearly not a career defining moment for Cotto.

So, come on give it another shot.

Getting beat by Margarito was his defining moment, it was his biggest fight and a epic match up.

It was a sceptical to see him emotionally broken

Beating Zab Judah, was also a defining moment.

I take his performance even in defeat against Mayweather as his defining moment simply because he has overcome hell just to get to that point and managed to gather himself mentally to be focused for that fight.

I'd give 2nd to revenge on Margarito

    3rd Mosley

    4th Judah/Quintana

5th his overall destruction of solid B/B+ level fighters at 140lbs.
