"Slip" is right, i would only ever get a tatoo of my girls name, like if fell deeply in love ha ha ha

Or maybe the "Olympic Rings" somewhere...

Not got any but have considered having just my name on my bicep for years, like Mike Tyson

However just looked at some pics of him and he doesn't have his 'Mike' any more

Did I imagine that thing or has he covered it with his newer tattoos ? When he adopted a muslim name perhaps ?

How is your tattoo then Bomber ?

Its class mate, I love it- never seen anyone with it other then Cotto so i'm dead pleased. Its not an identical copy- changed a couple of bits but its very similar.

I also have Gatti's cross but with 'pride' instead of 'faith' in the middle. I respect these guys so its a great way for me to always remember them. I want one more.... Joe louis on my arm (as thats my sons name) perhaps in hindu writing- but want to find something a bit more original.

I love my tatts mate as long as they mean something they are all good. I had a horrible one covered up today too so double rainbow.

I think Tyson got his ''Mike'' tattoo covered with the Mao Zedong tattoo on his right shoulder.

Looks decent I think, as far as tribal type stuff goes.

Don't go the Hindu bollocks, don't do it. So corny its unreal, I hate that Chinese/Japanese/Hindi stuff, its invariably ******s that do it. Just have Joe Louis in English, its far cooler.

:nut Don't understand the last part:nut

Do you have the tat from the bicep/shoulder right down to the leg like Cotto? I'd love to have the bollocks to get that done but I'm not so sure. I like his tat on the inside on his left bicep in that pic though. I heard that's one of the worst places to get done.

Sergio Busquets and Zlatan Ibrahimovic pull it off. Michael Clarke as well.
You'd look a twat. Too passionate. You'd regret it I reckon.

What's the point though? The whole point of tattoos is to show off, and I don't mean that in a bad way but you want people to look at it and think its pretty cool or ask questions otherwise whats the point? They're more likely to ask what Joe Louis is about than some standard hindi/chinese bollocks. Less is more sometimes.

I cannot agree. That doesn't explain why people might get a tattoo in a place where people can't see when dressed 'normally'.

There are plenty of occasions when you can dress 'un-normally' and show off. Particularly with a tattoo, which is more of a statement than an item of clothing.

Anyway I'm sure you are right, but there is no way in hell anybody English can claim some Hindi or Chinese is in any way 'meaningful' to them.
