I seriously think the only fighter in the coming few years who will be able to beat Floyd is Broner. I know it sounds like rubbish, but please hear me out:

    1) Forget about the friendship, because we all know that doesn't mean **** if the money and situation is right. They'll kiss and make up later.

    2) Broner is a Grade A over-confident jackass. He is too legitimately ****y to be intimidated by Floyd. I seriously think he would think everyone is cheering for him.

    3) It would take Broner a couple of years to work his way into this fight, and he will have gained a lot of experience, as well as Floyd possibly losing a little steam. Keep in mind Broner is only 23 right now and could grow a little into the division physically and mentally.

    4) Technically speaking, Broner is not really all that bad defensively if he tries to concentrate on it. Plus, regardless of how stupid he is outside of the ring, he is actually a smart fighter.

    5) He's a come-forward aggressive fighter who has decent power and great hand speed. Plus he has the chin not to be bothered by Floyd.

    6) When has Floyd ever fought someone with this style, defense, hand speed, and confidence all in one? Zab is the closest I can think of, and although Zab is much smaller he beat Floyd. (6 rounds to 6 with one KD - that's my story I'm sticking to it. :bart **** you Scar!)

I can totally see Floyd fighting Broner after the 6-fight contract +1 with Pac. My prediction on Broner's best night? Floyd 7-5. But anything can happen.

Go ahead. Fire away. Trust me I know how stupid this may all sound.

50 year old Mayweather handles Broner easily.

Broner might not even get by Maidana next.

you saw what happened to ginger for being slow on his feet against Floyd

Broner is even more flatfooted and static

Floyd would school Broner, Broner looked f-ckin terrible against Malignaggi and clearly has no power at 147.

He's gonna get his bubble burst by Maidana in December anyway, so the hype about this clown can be put to bed at last.

Broner has absolutely nothing on Floyd. Floyd is better in every aspect of the game. I don't even like to compare the two. Floyd wins every round unless he takes a round off for a breather.

but... but... but... Broner a G! :err

He wouldn't even be able to win a single round on CJ Ross' scorecard.
