If you are talking about current Crawford, well, he is just short of 39 years old and I would have to favor Ennis. Prime Bud would beat Ennis quite handily.
Crawford fights at a pace where he controls when and where punches will be exchanged. Boots fights best when guys are chasing him down and he can dig his feet into the ground and let his hands go, Crawford won’t give him that oppurtinity. Boots would have a hard time getting inside and letting his hands go without eating a power jab from Crawford.
