Anyone know if his fight later this month will be shown on UK TV? Last I heard he was due to fight Brian Vela (former Contender, er, contender) on the 8th. Would be good to see his career being picked up a bit more in the British press - he's fighting at a good level, getting good sparring and is trained by one of the top trainers. Cheers.
Apparently its on ESPN's Friday Night Fights, which is shown over here on Five very early Monday morning-3.15 this upcoming week.
I hope we get more coverage of him in the UK. He is one of the best British prospects coming up at the moment and I would like to see more of him.

Just a quick update on Craig.He`ll be travelling to Fort Worth about now and is very confident he will do well against Vera. His preparation has not been the best. As you know Freddie has been away with Manny from about Tuesday till Sunday, and , as it turned out , Craig missed out on some important sparring late last week, as the lads who said they would be there failed to turn up. However, he looked impressive during the rounds he did get in. He also worked hard to replace the sparring he didn`t get but obviously there was a lack of real structure there as it was a bit late to go to hard at it. I came home on Monday but spoke to Craig this evening and he tells me Freddy has been working hard with him since Monday and is confident he will beat Vera. For the first time, Freddy is talking about a title fight this year....IF he beats Vera of course. He asks me to pass on his thanks for your continuing support, chaps.
