If Crawford could actually utilize his jab for 12 rounds then he could possibly outbox Manny, but, I don't think he could do it.

 

That would be an interesting fight. It hadn't occurred to me since Pacquiao generally fights people bigger than him, but it could definitely be made at 140. But they both have so many good opponents to fight at their current weight classes that I really hadn't even thought they might want to make the match.

Crawford's knockout of Gamboa definitely puts him on the pound for pound map. I can see him getting a shot at an aging star like Pacquiao or Marquez and becoming the next big moneymaker in the sport. Ooh, ooh, you know who would be even better for him? Tim Bradley. Similar age, similar size, similar level of skills.

 

Pacquiao can't beat Crawford without his PEDs unless he drags him up to a 150lb catchweight

crawford just became another option for pac.

 

A jab alone wouldn't be enough to keep PAC honest and Crawford has a decent jab ....but he needs certain qualities and attributes that he's lacking to really be a threat. Maybe down the line CT will add those tools to his tool belt or maybe PAC begins to deteriorate to the point where Crawford can take advantage of an aging Manny, but the time isn't now.

But I'd glady watch it if they throw this kid on Manny's plate.
