Yeah i think hearns has the best chance of knocking him out out of any welterweight in history. I'd imagine a round 10 TKO/KO for hearns
If Hearns doesn't fight emotional, or get careless? He's next to impossible to beat at 147 Ray beat him in their super fight, but Tommy wins an immediate rematch. He did win the rematch for my money years later
Hearns is not a great fight for guys who sit back and use speed to counter. He had speed and reach and would have done the countering...
Bud has a far longer reach than Duran who was a natural lightweight, plus he might figt southpaw creating confusing angles for Tommy.
Wouldn't matter. He would lose to Hearns, Leonard and Duran. Also Floyd, Pac, Tito, and Oscar. And a good few others. He's the best WW at this point, but not in the all-time top echelons of 147. He needs to have more than one big win. And it would help if such wins were against non-damaged fighters.
Who did Bud fight that was the size of Marg ? Manny shut him out. Mainly because Manny faced better opposition at 147.
