I'd favour Crawford. But it's a sign of Manny's greatness that even at this stage of his career I still wouldn't be very confident in my pick. Don't think the fight will happen though. May-Pac II is surely on for next spring.
I like Crawford, but even at Manny's age he might have enough left in the tank. Other than Floyd, Manny still looked good against Algieri, Bradley and will likely look good against Vargas.
We have to remember, Pacquaio with 1 arm beat a juiced up Mayweather, Crawford is not as defensively sound as Mayweather. That staright left Mayweather ate that staggered him and sent him reeling to the ropes would probably knock out Crawford. pac is now old but people have to remember, he beat bradley not too long ago with ease. crawford is good but he hasn't fought anybody at bradley's level yet.
Pacquaio will make Crawford work for the victory, that's for sure. It's a classic youth vs Experience matchup, if Crawford can negate Pacquaio speed, by keeping him at the end of his long jab and reach while switch hitting, he could win and win wide. If he engages Pacquaio and the fight turns into a war which is possible, then I'd favor Pacquaio. It's a true pick em fight.
