Heard a rumour that this has been arranged for September.
Give crolla any chance of winning this?

Hopefully Crolla get the win, Ricky keeps winning and we can have an all British clash for the world title!!

Hearn surely has to bring this fight to the UK if its on...surely??

Richard Abril is not a draw or a big name in the US and isn't protected by a figure like Haymon to my knowledge so there can be no excuse for sending Crolla over there and giving him the task of basically having to KO an awkward fighter to get the win...

Didn't Hearn say he's got a big show in the O2 in October? This could be the main event on it (but would make more sense to have it in manc)

This must be the world title shot Hearne was talking about when he said ''its not Kell Brook.''

You never got back to me in the other thread about Hearn sending men abroad for title fights worth peanuts, aside from Rose, who else has he done this with?

Eddie is also the only promoter to have brought over a champ in the last 3 years, Kessler and Bute, he isnt perfect but he is hardly the Antichrist

Pretty sure this happens in September at the Phones 4 You arena, more interested in who will be on the 'massive bill' at the o2 in October, thinking maybe David Haye's return...

Love how Crolla gets written off before every fight

Mate I don't think he is written off. Crolla is a guy that was in close fights with Derry Mathews and John Murray until stoppage. Also lost twice to Gary Sykes. Abril is a World Class fighter. I think this comes down to levels. Crolla is European at best I'm afraid

Abril's all wrong for Crolla. If he tries to box, he gets beaten wide on points and unless he shows some miraculous improvement as a come forward pressure fighter he won't upset Abril's boxing like Rios managed to... and even that was a split decision.

I'd like Crolla to do it and fair play for stepping up if he does, but you'd have to start Abril as a heavy heavy favourite. This is Crawford v Burns like.
