I have to agree with Billy. Crolla is not in Ricky Burns league he looked good against willie . I dont think his camp will really want this fight they will talk it up but in truth they dont want it he need some hard fight maybe the european route . I do hope Ricky gets maybe the Mitchel fight as that the one the Brittish public wants as its a good match .
Was a truly awful fight last night, Crolla was never pushed at all and i was sorely disappointed with Limonds performance, always heard good things about Willie but he didn't offer anything at all and Crolla looked far too comfortable in there.
Well he ain't putting Burns to sleep but its a decent fight, Crolla has skills and all this 'Burns shouldn't lower himself' bull**** is wank of the highest order:roll:
Crolla would represent the best title defence of Burns career. However, I personally would much rather see Crolla-Matthews or Crolla-Rees and the winner of either of those fights take on Ricky.
crolla can clean up in britain first then he will get a shot at burns,what about mcallister, rees,arthur and mitchell and murrey ,burns is above all these guys,so work ur way through this lot before u get burns,thats what is wrong with british boxing no one will fight each other to be the best in britain, this would be a good contender ,everyone fight each other and the winner gets a crack at burns .
