What are some of the biggest crowd reactions you've seen/heard during a fight?

Here are some of my favorites:

    - Holyfield defeating Tyson in their first fight. The crowd went berserk when referee Mitch Halpern stopped the fight.

    - Bobby Chacon dropping Bazooka Limon in their fourth fight. The pro-Chacon crowd lost their **** when Limon hit the canvas.

    - Jimmy Young's win over Foreman in Puerto Rico. Whenever Young would land a punch the crowd would erupt.

    No replies? Hmmm...

Another good one is when Lennox Lewis beat Razor Ruddock in '92. The London crowd went ballistic when Ruddock was stopped.

when oleg smacked Rahman out the ring a few times..crowd didnt seem too cool with it....nor was the crowd very happy with Golota.

it is interesting to watch old fights and see how similar the reaction of the crowd is...like when dempsey drops willard...everyone does the same thing than as they would today...stands up.

The crowd in the background when Corrales reverses things and has Castillo on the ropes.

I love how you can see two guys standing over Castillo's shoulder screaming and waving Corrales forward, practically trying to psychically will Corrales to win.

Benn v Mclellan sounds like it was held in the dark ages, everyone baying for blood, every thudding punch greeted with massive cheers.

Foreman-Lyle really had the crowd going, as did Hagler-Hearns and Holmes-Norton (round 15).

Gatti-Ward round 9 had the place roaring.

The crowd at Madison Square Garden for Trinidad's fight against Joppy. They went nuts every single time he landed a clean shot and sustained that level of atmosphere throughout the fight.Guy had a really loyal, rabid following, and it was always most apparent when he fought at the Garden.

When Barrera looked in trouble in the 5th round of their first fight, then started firing back, backing Morales to the ropes.

At the Roberto Duran - Davey Moore bout at Madison Square Garden - the crowd was solid Duran, despite Moore being a local fighter. At the playing of the national anthems, you could hardly hear anyone singing the Star Spangled Banner, yet the arena resounded with the singing of the Panamanian national anthem. When Duran knocked Moore into the ropes, the crowd went wild.

    Some memorable ones for me:

    Wilfredo Gomez vs Carlos Zarate
When Gomez knocks him down the first time, the crowd ERUPTS. Its so loud and they are pounding so hard, that the camera filming the fight is shaking, it's incredible to watch.

Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo I
They are cheering and hollering as Diego rocks Jose, but when the fight is waved off, you can distinctly hear the cheering turn into this deep roar, almost like an army's war cry.

Bobby Chacon vs Rafael Limon IV
The whole fight, the crowd is wild. A rowdy crowd of fight fans, non stop buzz, it really adds to the viewing experience.

Fights in the Garden were always fun and electric even when it wasnt a huge fight.

foreman knocking out moorer was very special.

can you imagine what the crowd reaction would have been if tyson-douglas had been in the states? the crowd makes a big difference in the fight. i've seen some great fights on undercards that don't get noticed as much because the crowd is not as into it.
