I actually think that the Americans in the HW divison dont look that bad. If you look at the fighters from USA then there are lot of hope. hehe just for fun. I know that he has a suspect chin and that his weight and legs are to small for an heavyweight. But he still exiting and it is great that he has 20 W and all by KO. even if they are bums or cans, he still needs to do the work to get the KO?
Yeah, i saw his last KO, dude was a bum, but it was a nice shot. I was shocked how skinny his legs were also. Will be interesting to see how he develops.

The glory days of the American Heavyweight are gone.. they're aren't even a tenth of the real boxing gyms there were in the 70's. Not to mention almost all of the great trainers (like Eddie Futch) are no more. In the USA , where in the past poverty produced some of the greatest heavyweight champs ever, the poorest people today have cable TV and are obese, confortable and lazy. Anyone motivated and talented plays ball...more accessable and easier. That leaves the pudgy Russians and the pasty Europeans who are now, as they've always been nothing awe inspiring . But thats all there is now, and they're all dominated by two brothers who distinguish themselves by actually training and trying to win.
I now he was a bum. But still. 1 Round KO is never ever bad. Better that he finish him in the 1st round than in the 3rd or 4th. Yeah. He is also at the top in my mind. But he used 4 round to KO somebody Amir Mansour KOed in 1. So. But yeah let us see how he does against Timur. Maybe the glory are gone, but still the hope is still there. And if they can become even 1/5 of waht they have veen in the past I will be happy.
We only get clips of these guys over in the UK, but Wilder looks pretty good. The only thing I will add is that a) his legs look very thin, which may be a problem if he is hit and b) he seems to be fighting blown up CWs at the minute. It will be good to see him step up soon
yea he had decent power but surly being i jail will have affected him and wasting that much time...he wasnt a great prospect to begin with tbh..plus hes abit small and he lacks in a few departments...time will tell.hope im wrong would be gd if all them done very well then the hw scene would hotten up once again..
yea from what ive seen of wilder he could do with putting some weight on those legs.he also needs to be taught how to jab and helped with footwork and ring generalship..at the min all he has is huge power in the right hand which is why he is prob being fed the fighters he has been
Mansour is the type of heavyweight the world is desperate for. He has a great story, raw, brutal power and the type of character to bring the division back to it's former glory. Obviously he is a long way away from that level but he has the potential to be a star if he's a good enough fighter. I want the heavyweight champion of the world to want to destroy people. Mansour is the closest we currently have to someone like Sonny Liston.
