    Curry was done after Honeyghan.
I see Curry outboxing Mugabi easily and then folding the moment John connects with something good.

Donald can’t take that kind of power

No doubt Mugabi had the type of power to get Curry out of there. I lean towards the more talented Curry though. He was the more versatile guy and I would very nervously put my money on his skill and talent over the power of Mugabi.

Mugabi would beat the hell out of curry. Curry was a fine stand up boxer, but Mugabi was an animal. He would rough Curry up badly and knock him sensless

Take Curry straight after McCrory and move him to 154 and i'd take him to tame the beast by KO. Post Honeyghan might be different.

The Hagler fight showed Marvin was just too rusty for John..
Not having fought in one year, and that is why Ray wanted to fight him. I think Donald stops John in a few rounds with sharp punches.. Donald was always a sharp puncher, but he did decline gradually after Lloyd beat him.

Curry's defense protected his somewhat shaky chin and after Lloyd Honeyghan, wasn't the same promising fighter. Mugabi by late round knockout.

If this happened after Mugabi/Duane Thomas Curry wins. Curry actually looked fairly good at 154 after the loss to McCallum up to the Jacquot loss. He beat Lupe Aquino and Gianfranco Rossi.

Post Honeyghan I'd take Curry as well. Mugabi got tamed by Duane Thomas right around the same time as Curry lost to Honeyghan. I think he regained more of his form than Mugabi did though both were never the same.

Mugabi prior to Hagler eventually would catch Curry and stop him. He probably would be behind in the score cards but Curry didn't have Hagler's chin. Or his power . Sooner or later his chin would get tested, he can only, slip, block, duck so many times before one gets in. And when it does, judging by what happened to him by punchers that didn't hit nearly as hard. One has to think when Mugabi lands cleanly on Curry, the fight would probably be over.

Maybe. Curry looked really good against McCallum until caught. That version quite possibly wouldn't be caught against Mugabi and Curry did stun McCallum a couple of times who could take it better than Mugabi.
