Well lads I need your opinion about cuts.A young 13 year old boxer I know was sparring on monday and got a clash of heads and got a cut just over his eyebrow and he is due to box in Russia. In a couple of weeks and I was wondering would ye guys have any ideas for quicking up the heeling process.

I wouldn't recommend anything other than sew that **** up and leave it. Don't **** with it and pull out if you have to. That **** can change your career. You don't need your eyes re-opening. Wanderlei Silva just had his skull shaven down to try and reduce cuts cos his eyes open up so much.

hes 13! plenty of time for him to fight...plenty more opportunities will come along but if you **** with the cut and put him into the fight, not 100% hes more likely to lose, re open the cut etc and the more you re-open the cut the more its likely to re open in the future

so the moral of the story is don't take chances on young children, hes got his life ahead of him to fight in russia etc

A cut just over the eyebrow? Didn't he have headgear on?

Yeah but what ever way the sparring lifted his head slitly moved the headgear and gave him a nik at the same time.

I had something like that this headgear at this gym I was at over the summer. It had a chin bar. I wore it because next day I had work and I didn't want to be bruised up. Took a grazing uppercut and it cut my chin slightly. doh!
