Came through the Ingle system. Was very heavy handed as a kid. Trained with Ryan Rhodes for the past few years.

 

Looked excellent tonight.

Only thing is I'd like him to up the pace more, more urgency.

 

Next fight will be on the undercard of H Fury v Hunter in Birmingham, on Sky.

He signed a 5 fight deal with Matchroom in Aug 21 and has had 3 of those. Once he’s had the remaining 2 he’ll be off to Sky permanently.

 

Joshua Buatsi is also leaving Matchroom. He has one fight left on his contract and that is why Eddie Hearn wants to match him against Callum Smith.

Buatsi doesn't stand a chance against Callum Smith.

 

I can't keep up with the exodus at Matchroom. Who's gone it the last 12 months?

 

In 2 years the UK stable will be Tony Sims’ fighters, Johnny Fisher and Chisora still getting rolled out.

What about Shannon Courtney, who was handed a world title by beating Ebanie Bridges in-between shocking losses, rather than Natasha Jonas who gave Katie Taylor a competitive fight and continues to perform well way past her peak years many pounds above her natural weight division; albeit in a weak division?
