High school beat does not mean the author of the article was in high school. The same way the local reporter who does the crime beat is not a criminal. Have any of you ever read a newspaper? Christ.

 

I see he still has the same assinine writing style.

 

What's more noteworthy about Fat Dan at that time is he wasn't even a boxing fan yet! Yet a couple years later managed to be the main boxing writer for a national newspaper.
