Who followed the guy's career? Pretty interesting read here. Local guy with a good record, but not a household name around here at all (while his rival Vinnie Paz certainly is, despite being from a neighboring state).

How would he have matched up with contemporary 90's SMW contenders?

I remember him. He had good potential, but was up and down.

He was a decent boxer, but he didn't have the greatest chin. He was a smart guy with other options, so he got of the game pretty quick after it was clear he wasn't gonna make it to the top level with those whiskers.

Did Pazienza stop him cold? It says he got knocked down in the 4th round of their first fight, but the official result is "TKO". Was it a ref wave-off a'la Calzaghe-Manfredo or was it one of those deals where Rosenblatt beat the ten/standing-8 count but was in no shape to continue?

The second scenario. It's been a long time since I've seen the fight, but my best recollection is that he was knocked silly.

^^yeah he was knocked silly, with 4 or 5 punches coming after he was clearly out on his feet, similar to the ray mercer tommy morrison scene. I liked rosenblatt, good boxer, bad chin, slightly better than average speed, average punching power and alot of heart. that's a recipe for an entertaining fighter, and that he was. he was nothing more than that though

Yeah he was ko'd badly by Paz, but didnt he come back and win a decision against him? I know he was supposed to fight Sheika at one point, but the fight never came off.
