As in accordance with IBF rules Kegs, the minute Geale was mandated as one of the accepting parties to face off in the No.1 spot eliminator (just after his fight with Kariuki), he is not by their rules allowed to contest an outside bout without forfeiting his eliminator opportunity and his rating as they penalise you also.

I'm not being smart, I know this from my time managing Billy Dib and at one stage being in the mix for an eliminator opportunity, hence having to go through the rules at the time.

Grange have done a super job moving Daniel into the position he is in, having developed him without too many wars to get him there, and matched him with the right opponent in Karmazin to look good in winning his eliminator.

You are correct in saying as the official No.1 challenger, he is not permitted to accept a fight until he squares off for the title against Sylvester.

Time will tell if they have taken / not taken the right path with him.

Respect your points Francis and thanks for clarifying. I assumed you were meaning Karmazin as the journeyman which I thought was a tad unwarranted.

I can't be critical of Grange, I personally think they've done a great job developing Daniel and he's in a great position to capitalise.

I do agree however with you to a small degree and probably would have looked to match him in another fight between the Tasmanian fight he had (co-show with Mundine) and the May show of last year with Kariuki. That's only my personal opinion and to be fair, by Geale's demolition of Karmazin and where he is currently positioned as the mandatory challenger, I suppose in hindsight we'd have to say it wasn't needed or affected him.

In fairness Josey, no one, and I do mean no one was saying Karmazin was shot to **** prior to the fight with Daniel were they?

Hindsight's a beautiful thing and everyone becomes a full-blown expert.

I haven't spoke with the boys at the Grange in the last week / week and a bit so I can't enlighten anyone as to the status of their talks but I do know it had to be finalised by mid-March or purse bids called.

I personally see (for what my two-bob's worth it is) is seeing Daniel fighting over there for the title with return options, i.e. rematch + one or two defences. I could be wrong, but I think Grange are smart enough to know they can't match the German's financial power (even though Grange have their own backing) and are simply negotiating the most strongest financial package for Daniel as they can get. Fair play to them and congrats to them for the backing and support they have given Daniel up to this point and I know Daniel is very grateful for it.

To answer your other question, yes I have no doubt Daniel has the skills to beat Sylvester and I seriously expect him to do so. A stoppage finish would not surprise me at all, but I genuinally feel Daniel is by far a better boxer than Sylvester and expect him at the least to comprehensively beat him in a shut out.

Actually he drew with Sylvester only 4 months prior, and from what I understand most people thought RK won.

He can't be as far passed it as some like to think.

Teke, thank you for your expert 'hindsight' opinion. I didn't see/don't seem to recall yourself or anyone for that matter saying this prior to Daniel comprehensively beating him?

I'm happy to stand corrected if anyone did?

At least you acknolwedged the quality of Daniel's victory.

I didnt use the power of Hindsight . I didnt really have an opinion on the fight before or after but i did know that RK was well past his best. I have followed RK for a long time. Geale bashed him accordingly

Oh **** off Teke, you talk out of your ass. I know your just trying to bait me but unfortunately, your argument is flawed and just makes you look a right dick.

You say he was done, but Karmazin had three stoppage victories prior to the Sylvester fight (one of which was the IBF eliminator to face Sylvester) in which he KO'd the guy in 10rds. (multiple knockdowns in the final round after being knocked down himself earlier in the fight if I remember correctly?)

He then fights Sylvester in what most call a 'disputed' decision, but after being hammered by Geale, you parade yourself around as some sort of expert saying Karmazin was done, but as you quote, you "didn't really have an opinion on the fight before or after".

Your a knob. Keep sticking to your Mandy love in his monumentus rematch coming up against that blinding 10-1-1 UFC fighter.

At least Geale is laying it on the line for a real title, not trying to stick to chasing 'regular' or 'interim' rubbish which has been Mandy's career forte.

Mate Im serious, I havnt rated RK for a number of yrs doesnt matter who he has fought recently or how he went. I didnt really express any opinion on the RK before or immediately after the fight cause i just wasnt interested. Sox can vouch for it as he made me youtube it :deal

No Im not baiting you and are you being serious mentioning Choc again when it has nothing to do with him? Defensive much !!

I have given Geale more than enough praise for bashing the fella, so that cant be it?!

Im sorry I called you ****endo, I apologise if I have hurt your feelings.
