You think Williams was winning before the cut??? Do you, LMAO? When Platov was cut he stopped fighting ,and wanted to quit. If the ref was so biased, why didnt he stop it then? Platov certainly didnt look like he wanted to fight on, and it was a headbutt.
Williams too much heart and strength for Platov, WIlliams out-fought him, simple as that. German boxing = biggest joke in professional sports
To be fair, Platov got cut by his head. NC is not gonna hurt anyone, but only inspire a lot of interest for the next fight. This fight will also inspire both boxers to hopefully train very-hard for the next one. I really hope it happens.
Platov was just wailing on Williams until the cut. Indeed, if not for the cut Williams would of been knocked out. Although, I am disappointed how Platov reacted to being cut.
Platov is a crude slugger. He punched himself out the first two rounds and was ripe for the taking but the cut saved him from an embarassing knockout at the hands of Williams.
I'm astonished by these reactions. First of all it was a hell of a fight. Long live the heavies !! The fight itself was 1. ALL Platov, beating Danny up bad before the cut. 2. Intentional headbutt by Danny (well conceiled though) 3, Afterwards all Danny, hurting Platov badly who wouldn't have lasted two more rounds. So whose fault it is?
