I got Mijares by one-sided decision.

Mijares should win a lop-sided UD but Vic is being underrated,he really has a good chance to stop him

    Mijares by wide UD.

Vic only really has a punches chance and that's not down playing or underestimating Vic. Vic is a very good fighter and is good at what he does but if you put a good brawler in with a good technician then the technician generally wins. The only way he loses is if the puncher lands that one big shot. But even if he does he still gets schooled up until that punch.

I see this going pretty much like other skill v will fights - Hopkins v Pavlik, Calzaghe v Lacy, Mijares V Munoz, Calderon v Cazares.

Montiel and possibly Donaire stand the best chance of beating Mijares.

Mijares will be selling tacos on the street after this fight. That is when he is discharged from hospital.

Mijares schools the **** out of the Vic then fights Montiel. The only fight that matters in the division.

This fight won't even be competitive Mijares skills advantage will be obvious from the start and he should win by 8th round TKO. Vic fights with his hands so far apart like he is trying to catch a beach ball and because of that he'll be eating alot of leather through out the fight.

Donaire was lighting Vic up and then he finished him coming in. We saw what Mirjares did to Arce. This seems an easy one to pic. Mijares wins.

Mijares, just like Donaire has a 68 inch reach. Vic is 64.5.

I see Vic losing rounds and getting frustrated and lunging in like before. And it won't work again.

Vic has faced three top fighters at 115 and come out with a draw and a KO loss and a KO win. The win being against the least of the three in Kirilov. edit: Woops, Donaire was at 112, making it even worse.

The ring isn't going to be a phone booth size though, is it?

you people are over-rating montiel too much. gorres beat him and needed the judges to hand him the win. gorres on the other hand drew w/ darchinyan who got KTFO'd by donaire.

just goes to show what level montiel really is. that's why darchinyan in all probability will win vs. montiel even if he ends up losing to mijares this weekend.

OK I was wrong Mijares did not get admitted to hosptal. Also he still has a boxing career and won't have to resort to selling tacos on the street,Anyone can make mistakes.
