Darchinyan has called Vasquez out and Vasquez has said on record that he'd be willing to fight Darchinyan. I don't know how much weight Darchinyan can handle him ... he must be able to if they're both willing to make the fight happen.
These two used to spar, and from what i heard Vic would get the better out of it but it was only because you could tell Vic was giving 100% and Vazquez less than half.
izzy's sparred with pacman and he held his own. he also looked awfully calm while sparring, many fighters do. i don't think it would be a cakewalk for izzy and he's not the most defensive fighter, but even a great lil fighter like vic i think would succumb to izzy's pressure and power, but not before busting up izzy's face. would like to see izzy alittle more active since his wars with rafa to see where he truly stands and if he still in his peak or if he's past it and if the trilogy affect him in a negative or positive way. izzy that beat rafa ko's vic or throws vic off his gameplan or comfort zone cuz izzy aint no arce. i think juanma vs. vicwould be interesting between 2 hard hitting southpaws
Vic's has a small body. I don't think he can go up to 122 and be as effective and powerful as he is now. His max weight is at 118. Anything above that would be too much for him. Vasquez KO's him early.
Vic also sparred with Valero also once when he was based in Japan, Vic brags about getting the best of that too which is what led him to start calling out guys like Manny Pacquiao and Jermain Taylor.
