yeah bet he has a highlight reel of his best displays as a ref while sucks on his werthers and sips his can of diet coke. Muttering under his breath when watching the big fights ''That Bayless ain't got **** on me...look at him...lanky ****...i should be there..i should be telling em keep em up and break!!!! not him''
I see it...i see it. All Mr Nice guy stopping fights at drop of a hat...always thought he was caring type but all along he was jealous of Parris and Vann. I can see it now...people smiling at him thinking thats the ref off the tele and him giving it the De Niro ''you looking at me'' and weighing in unsuspecting members of the public.
people will always have opinions as to who wins fights,refs and judges call it the way they see it thats what there paid for,i think dave parris is a very good offical and a gentleman outside the ring.
If you know Parris I hope I didnt offend, I'm sure hes a top bloke outside the ring and as a referee I really have no beef but his scorecard for the Napa-McDonnell fight was astonishing, for me I had Napa clearly winning but Parris didnt even have it close! He did a very bad job there in my opinion and cost a man a good win, I at least would like to here his reasoning for having it so wide. Maybe its because I'm still angry but I noticed he had a couple of bad scorecards last night in fights that were pretty clear cut, I dont mean to be out of order but if hes costing fighters obvious wins they have been training for for weeks he shouldnt be judging. As I said he is a good referee and I hope he continues to do so but he is not cut out for judging.
