David Brophy retires

I liked him, he was a decent fighter but had little power which stopped him from stepping up another level. Great win vs Zac Dunn down under. Good luck David.

 

Did he win the British title or was it just the commonwealth?

 

Just the commonwealth. Was a good, honest domestic level fighter. Best of luck to him.

 

Shame, I never like seeing fighter retire due to injury, I feel like they have been cheated.

Was badly matched against groves but maybe he need ed the money.

I enjoyed when he came to Australia and dominated and stopped Zac Dunn who was made out to be a beast in Australia fighting undersized opponents then gets stopped by Brophy who wasn't regarded as a puncher.
