    Just doing some research on David and he doesn’t have a wiki page, I know buffer and Lennon Jnr are the top announcers but David is up with them for me, he was the announcer for one of my favourite fights ward v gatti, my point is do you think Diamanté is the future of the sport announcing? Not many are replacing Micheal and jimmy so why not, he seems to be a confident bloke, doesn’t drink but smokes a cigar for pleasure, owns his own smoke house so to speak, announcers are to me sometimes the point of a good night that excites me, the crowd getting wound up so to speak.

    He said he repeats the boxer's last name after announcing the full name as an homage to ring announcers of the past who did it.

    Max Schmeling ... Schmeling.

    Pretty cool.
