    Yes, best of luck to him.

    It's a good time to retire for him too, he's not getting any younger or fresher, his style has emptied him, physically and mentally. A good career though, he sure entertained me with some of his fights.

    i was always a fan. he really has no where to go at this point, retiring is a good choice. best of luck to him...

    Good luck to him, he might be the most popular fighter in Chicago judging by how packed the shows are here when he fights.

    about time, he was a warrior. I didn't see him coming back after that loss as a gatekeeper against lundy...too brutal. his fights against lundy, chavez and holt were amazing to see, what a strong chin and even stronger heart. he took unbelievable punishment against a peak pacquiao ending in a devastating knockout loss and still managed to give a hilarious post fight interview. i'm sure chicago's proud of him.

    Wasnt the greatest fighter but through his courage he made some good money. His decision to invest his life to boxing was a worthy one and the people of Chicago recognize his accomplishments.

    Yes it was. He produced some really epic performances. Guys a warrior at heart who provides no excuses for his looses. I'll admit I actually felt disappointed when Lundy stopped him in his final bout.

    His fight with a " shot " Morales was good.

    His comeback against the way bigger Santa Cruz was impressive.

    His battering verses Pac showed the guy's got heart.

    The Lundy fight was a slugfest.

    Still, Very glad he retired, He's a good guy who has a family and surely would have suffered many problems physically if he would have continued his career longer.

    BTW he hosts an online boxing radio show now. He already said he was retiring a few weeks ago because people were asking if he wasn't fighting any more. Says he lost his will to fight and train. Anyways it's a good show to watch, I'd check it out. He says that he has a " big announcement " today. :huh:
