Does anyone else feel same thing from him, a nice genuine guy but something so arrogant about him it's untrue, he comes across as sincere and decent but almost like he has had media training about being confident and he's over the top cocky like he's god's gift, it's annoying and I'm not sure if is real him.
I like his personality, he's a nice guy who gives respect when it's due but he has confidence in his ability. It's not like he makes out he is unbeatable just that he has the tools to beat anyone which is true.
He sounds like a fake ass Lennox Lewis to me. Lennox was another arrogant Brit who was pretty loose with his opinions. However, it seemed more natural with him. Haye has his moments, and is pretty funny like Lennox was. However, it does seem a little forced.
I think his personality is one of the most likable and most marketable at HW in years. The speech about the HW division and Klitschko yesterday was funny as hell and he genuinely seems like a good guy. It will be very interesting to see how his chin holds up at HW. His future could be anything from getting knocked out by B levels to becoming undisputed.. it all depends on his chin. He definitely has the kind of personality that could make casual fans interested in the HW division again.
according to esb he would be a top 10 p4p, but since they dont like his personality, he's an overrated bum who avoids everyone.
I like the attitude. Then again, I like humble fighters, too. It takes all types to make the most interesting fights. Haye seems like a genuinely nice guy who's trying to sell a few extra tickets and appeal to new fans, that's all.
For a guy that ****s hot bitches as has a ton of wealth, he carries himself like a true gentleman. I give Haye a lot of credit. He gave Macca respect after beating him down.
