Anyone know what his status is now ? Is he retired or thinking about fighting still ?
    So many on /off comebacks.
If he's finished, how would you regard his career/legacy ?

Until we see him in a ring for a real fight there's no point in taking any comeback talk seriously.

I don't think he was much of a fighter. He was a good puncher. He was great at self-promotion. He made some serious money and never took a serious beating. I'd say that's an important legacy in itself.

His legacy is the non-effort versus Wlad.

Though for us geeks he must rank as one of the better cruiserweight champs.

If that's true they ought to bin the division.
    Something's not working.

There's always going to be something wrong with the division below heavyweight.

He takes more vacation than any fighter I know and always gets hurt even before the fight.

Oh man hasn't it just. Ever since Haye-Maccarineli, around the time I started watching boxing, I've kept a close eye on it and the division still has a lot of life

Putting aside what a flake he was and the toe incident in his non-effort against Klitschko I was amazed he KO'ed Chisora the way he did ... that being said I read he has had monster shoulder surgery and it is likely he is years away from even considering a comeback and knowing the type of injury doubt he'll ever be back ..

I guess if you think about it, it's probably a closer rendition to the heavyweights of old, quicker and more athletic than your average heavyweight of today. They still hold quite a lot though. Generally provides a more entertaining fight
