David Haye's resume @ HW...

Monte Barratt was a good start then cant blame him for taking the Valuev fight. Ruiz was a mandatory so again what can you do.

However instead of Harrison i would like to have seen Haye v Solis at the time as both were making noise about fighting Wladimir or Vitali and both were in good form.

After the Wlad loss the Chisora fight was very intriguing and i was looking forward to the Charr and Fury fights.

He would of lost to Vitali in 2011 so doubt he would of got the Wlad fight straight after

 

Valuev was a decent win although I cant help feel he was cashed out. He got beat by Holyfield.

For me he shouldn't have fought Harrison pointless fight (although I suppose he viewed it as easy money little risk)

Barratt was an OK start.
Valuev fine no issues
Ruiz again no great but mandatory
Chisora fine no issues

But it took so long for these fights to come together.
He could have had fought Adamek, Arreola both good winnable fights there is the Wlad loss as well but that's the only A level heavy he's been in with

His best performance is probably chisora but its against a B level fighter. Yes he stood to a shot to **** Vitali but that's Del Boys claim to fame. He's no puncher, slow and gets rocked by journey men. He was never going to have a chance against a decently skilled puncher who likes people to come straight at him.

Fury would have been another decent win but again not against anyone who's a real threat to Wlad (at the minute)

 

The Valuev win is a bit of a false pretence as he got clearly beat by pensioner Holyfield in the fight before

Haye's legacy was sprinting like a fanny away from Wlad for 12 rounds despite claiming a sore toe.

He promised to bring excitement to the heavyweight division but stunk it out instead.

Good riddance to this tosser.

How many punches did he throw in the Valuev fight....3 a round. Haye is a con man.

 

People need to stop saying Monty Barrett was Haye's first win at the weight. That completely neglects his previous stunning wins over Valeri Semiskur, Garry Delaney and 'Big' Arthur Williams.

 

I think his resume at HW is okay considering he didn't have many fights at the weight. I would have fought similar opposition if I was in his position.

 

Don't forget Tomasz Bonin. This fight was competitive for about 20 secs

I've said this before regarding Haye, he was an excellent boxer who could possibly have been great if he wasn't hell bent on becoming a typical Z-list British 'celebrity' along the lines of fellow tits like that Joey Es***, Mark Wright etc.
