Thank God! It was completely senseless in the first place.

It's not cancelled, it's postponed. :patsch

So we not only not get rid of of this pointless, stupid rematch, but as it will happen later this year, Dawson will pretty much have Tarver and no one else in the first part of 2008.

    P4P my ass...

It's what you have to accept being put in your contracts when you refuse to fight your mandatories, get stripped and leave yourself no options but to fight for a title as contender rather than in a unification match. Dawson's fault entirely that the rematch clause exists.

You do know what 'I don't give a f*ck' means, don't you? Nobody forced him to sign a contract with a stupid rematch clause, he put himself in this lose-lose situation. Sorry if I, a boxing fan, don't give a **** why he is giving the absolutely pointless rematch when some idiots call him the best LHW  when he didn't even beat Johnson according to 70% of Showtime poll. Where the rematch of that fight?

Yeah, I know, I know. There was no rematch clause there. So why should he take a fight he can actually lose, if he's not forced to it? :-(

The worrying news is that he has developed the hairline fracture. First Diaconu, now Dawson.
