It will be interesting if Diaconu can make it past round 6. But tbh i still wouldn't give him much of a chance

I think Diaconu's only chance is to land hard early in the fight. He doesn't have to knock Dawson down but seriously shake him up so that Chad will get overly cautious for the remainder of the bout and let Adrian dictate the tempo instead of him.

Dawson should normally outbox Diaconu no problem, but you never know how Chad reacts...

    A puncher's chance but that's about it.

That is exactly what Dawson's sub-60% KO percentage indicates.

Steward is going to turn Dawson into a machine and teach him to generate that Hearns leverage into his shots.
    Just wait

Fair point but Dawson has changed trainer (now with Steward).
Emanuel said that he wants to turn Dawson in a better finisher.
Said all he is lacking is the killer instinct.

We'll see how it impact on Dawson's performance.

I believe he will stop Diaconu.

This is the best trainer switch ive ever seen , bearing in mind what Dawson was lacking , it has total destruction written all over it !!!

Anyone who believes Diaconu can be stoped , you don`t know him!

Dawson is the favorit but far from stopping Diaconu.

Let`s remember:Diaconu only lost to Pascal, twice.Dawson only lost the same boxer but once. But if you remember the first fight Diaconu lost, that was the FOTY or FOTY candidate anyway. Comparing the other two fights doesn`t bring us a superior Dawson because both were beaten clearely.Bottom line:the figts with Pascal, mathematically give plus for Diaconu.

A Diaconu in his best shape gives him a secondary chance.

After the fight I expect those who have written Diaconu will be stopped to come and RECOGNIZE THEY WERE SO WRONG. Because IF WILL BE STOPPED I WILL.

Well Diaconu is far from unstoppable. If I remember correctly, Diaconu was hurt at some point in both Pascal fights and dropped by Omar Sheika in his last fight. I still don't know which Chad Dawson we'll see in the ring this saturday, but an aggressive, hungry, confident and improved "Bad" Chad Dawson can definitely KTFO Diaconu.

Hurt ? What has to do that with KO-ed?Hurt but not even dropped?

Dropped with Sheika means nothing since he won easily. Was over confident and the same can be Dawson with him.Don`t forget a more attacking Dawson can be a more vulnerable one in the same time.

I don`t know which Diaconu we'll see in the ring this saturday but one in the best shape can put down Dawson for good.
