Hey guys, since Dberry can no longer post on this site, im just passing on this message on. He wanted to thank the lads here at esb who supported him for his recent bout. He seems to have enjoyed the experienced and has spoken highly of Lynch, his eye is mending very well too.

i think youd find most ams wouldnt use a headguard if there wasnt a rule that they MUST wear one.... i never wore one, until the rule came in and i HAD to wear one. the ****en things just get too hot, uncomfortable, and usually twist around. there is also studdies that hypothesize that headgear is spreading the impact of a punch, and increases shock over more of the brain. as opposed to getting hit by no headgear and an ungloved fist, produces a more 'localised' impact and less spreading of shock to the brain. im dead against headgear. the only possitive thing they do is reduce cuts.
