    Will Floyd, Pacquiao or any other fighter ever replace him as the biggest PPV draw of all-time?

    Pacquiao and Mayweather can surpass him I believe. If we go by average, I think Tyson is the PPV king.

    very true. everybody and their mother had to tyson fight. and he was selling ppv by fighting bums.

    nope cos pacman and floyd will retire straight afterwards if they ever fight each other i dont see either of em having more than 3 fights oscar was the pay per view king for almost a decade

    Neither Pac nor PBF will surpass him

    They're still riding off his fame and even if they fight each other, there will not be a bigger purse for them after that.

    There's very few names that can push them past the magical 1mill buys mark.

    if mayweather sticks around after beating poochiao then yeah floyd will break it but remember de la hoya been on ppv 20times so it's unfair to compare

    Nobody will replace what Oscar did for the lighter weights. He will always be the PPV king of the lower weights.

    Now ask yourself, "why is it that DLH has like 20 PPV fights whereas FLoyd only has 5-6":think

    The pessimist in me says Pac and PBF are riding a last wave but I hope I'm wrong. The boxing audience, imo, is much sustained through forums such as this. This **** is keeping boxing alive, but I find boxing sinking more and more into irrelevance with every year when I talk to people , regardless of how well Pac and PBF do. And as others have said they only do so well because they rode the dLh wave. Now is the right time for a great Tysonesque heavyweight to come along. Or better yet, now is the time to bring boxing out of the closed society of 60 dollar ppv events and back into the mainstream.

    Well, Floyd vs. Mosley is now the second highest seller of a non-Heavyweight event. So, Floyd holds first and second spot on that list, I believe.
